We wish all CEB staff a restful holiday period and hope that you have an opportunity to take a break to rest and recharge prior to the beginning of Term 4.

COVID Reminders for CEB Staff

As announced by Premier Daniel Andrews on Wednesday, the Ballarat LGA is currently in a 7 day lockdown. Staff are reminded of the requirements for working from home, working on-site and Authorised Worker Permits, as per CEB Staff Newsletter #32 (Wednesday 15 September). 

For those local to Ballarat, a reminder to monitor the list of COVID exposure sites. 

October CEB Staff Meeting Agenda

The agenda for the October CEB Staff Meeting is now available in Knowledge Banks under 9. CEB Staff > 1. Meeting Materials > 2021 October. This includes the Zoom links required for each session.

As previously advised, due to the current COVID restrictions the meetings will be held online. There will be two sessions held each morning (Tuesday 5 October and Wednesday 6 October) with a break in the middle of each session. The remainder of the day, and Thursday 7 October, will be set aside for team meetings as determined by your Team Leader.

The final session on Wednesday will be a number of workshops offered by our staff on the effective use of the various IT software and platforms used. Staff are asked to nominate their top two preferred sessions via this google form by midday, Monday 4 October. In an effort to keep session numbers even, there is no guarantee that you will be placed in either of your preferred sessions. If you do not nominate any preferred sessions, your selection will made for you, based on participant numbers.

Staff Prayer

Staff Prayer will not take place during the holidays, with our next session to be held remotely on Monday 4 October at 8.30am. The google meet link and the prayer for the session will be on our SIMON homepage prior to the start of the session.

Don’t forget to look out for daily prayers on SIMON during the holidays!
