Important: CEB staff evidence of vaccination status due tomorrow
A reminder that all CEB staff must provide evidence of their vaccination status by tomorrow, Friday 15 October. Full details are in this Circular for CEB staff.
The circular has been developed in accordance with the COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination Directions (No. 6) released by Victoria’s Acting Chief Health Officer to limit the spread of coronavirus within the population of school settings.
CECV has also prepared a mandatory vaccination FAQ to provide additional information for CEB staff and school staff.
CEB will continue to provide flexibility in enabling staff to attend vaccination appointments.
Working on-site at schools
Upon the presentation of your COVID vaccination status by 18 October, you will be permitted to attend any DOBCEL school site, however, if requested you will be required to present your vaccination status at non-DOBCEL school sites. As CEB holds information relating to your vaccination status we will inform schools that CEB staff attending on-site are able to do so and meet the vaccination requirements. Due to privacy laws, CEB will not be sharing the vaccination status of individual staff members directly with schools.

Apart from the above advice about vaccinations and working on-site in schools, restrictions for working on-site in CEB offices and in schools remain unchanged since CEB Staff Newsletter #34 (Friday 1 October) – see “COVID reminders for CEB staff” section.

Reminder: End of year staff dinner
A reminder to register your attendance to the end of year staff dinner on Friday 3 December and to advise whether your partner will be attending, so we can ensure an appropriate space is booked.
Staff Prayer
Staff Prayer will take place remotely on the morning of Monday 18 October at 8.30am. The google meet link and the prayer for the session will be on our SIMON homepage on Monday.
Missing pot plant
The pot plant from Sandra’s office appears to have been moved recently. If anyone knows its whereabouts, please contact Susan Kern so she can ensure it is being cared for by Marie.
