Gillies Street Office Moving Update
There have been several questions regarding the relocation of IT equipment to the new Gillies Street office. Please use the following as a guide:
- Ensure all cords are removed from monitors. Feel free to leave cords plugged in to docking stations, but take care not to kink the cables if wrapping them up.
- Place all cords, keyboards, mice, headsets, webcams, power boards, speakers etc inside a clearly labelled archive box (additional boxes arriving Friday)
- Disconnect phone network cable the from wall outlet and leave connected to phone handset. Phone handsets will remain on the desk as we are not taking these with us.
- Clearly label your monitor/s with your name
- For staff downstairs in the old library, IT will disconnect cables and docking stations. Please ensure your monitor is labelled for relocation, and leave an assembled empty archive box with your name on it on the desk with your mouse and keyboard etc.
See below for an example (click the photos to enlarge them).

Office Closure and Leave Period
A reminder that all CEB offices will close at 4pm on Friday 17 December, 2021 and reopen on Monday 10 January, 2022.
Employees will be gifted additional leave, in addition to the three public holidays in this period. This means that staff do not need to draw on their accrued annual leave entitlements for the office closure period.
Leave forms are not required for the closure period, however all leave taken outside of the dates noted above must be applied for prior to commencing leave, using the leave approval system in ELMO.

International Day of Persons with Disabilities
Today is the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
Pope Francis’ message to people with disabilities on this day is that ‘the Church is truly your home’, a home worthy of full participation in all aspects of the life of the Church.
As Catholic educators, today we affirm our commitment to all children to foster a home, a school community, a Church that is inclusive, welcoming, valuing, acknowledging, and actively engaging all learners with disabilities: Actioning Education for All.
