Remembrance Day
Today on the 11th of November we take time to honour those who have served and sacrificed. We remember all who paid the ultimate price for our freedom.
Jim Waight led a Remembrance Day service this morning, where respect and prayers were paid to those who have fallen in the line of duty.
Lest we forget.
CEB Annual Staff Christmas Dinner – 2 December
With the CEB Staff Christmas Dinner less than 3 weeks away, a reminder to please complete this google form. The evening will be sure to be a fun night with music, laughs and a chance to catch up with colleagues.
RSVPs close Monday 14 November at 4pm.
Mass will be held prior to the dinner with details to be advised once confirmed.

People and Development
This year as part of CEB Christmas Giving we will be supporting St Vincent De Paul Society (Vinnies). This is an opportunity for staff to take part in the workplace giving program and to give back to our community. This year the two appeals for staff to donate to are:
2022 Christmas Appeal or VIC Flood Appeal 2022.
If you would like to get involved, there are two appeal boxes in the staff room for any monetary donations. Giving is voluntary, with staff donating what you feel is appropriate acknowledging that you may already support other organisations during the year and at Christmas.
We have also provided boxes to support REVERSE ADVENT CALENDAR. This year the boxes will be distributed by Uniting, Anglicare, and St Vincent De Paul to people in our immediate community who are experiencing food insecurity.
What is a Reverse Advent Calendar?
Unlike a regular Advent Calendar where the focus is on receiving a treat every day the Reverse Advent Calendar takes the focus off receiving and places the focus on giving to others.
Attached below is an information flyer which has suggestions of what to put in the box.
We encourage other CEB service centres to support this great cause.

Maintenance: we can't fix it if we don't know about it…
A generic email has been set up so that any maintenance items or facilities related issues in any of the DOBCEL offices/service centres can be reported.

Parking at the Mildura Office
CEB staff are reminded that parking at the Mildura office is limited to the 5 dedicated DOBCEL parking bays only. The two visitor parking spots are for the units with the remaining bays allocated to the Parish Office.

Aileen Loader has resigned her role as Finance and Fleet Officer with CEB to take up a Finance and Payroll position with Primary Health Network Western Victoria.
Aileen has been a committed and professional Finance Team member for the past eight years and she goes with our gratitude and very best wishes for her new position.
