Staff are invited to submit any questions they have about DOBCEL, which will be responded to at the CEB Staff Meeting on Tuesday 17 April.

Questions can be submitted anonymously via this form by 4pm on Thursday 1 April.

Welcome Back to the Office

A further easing of restrictions for Victoria has been announced. Effective 11:59 pm Friday 26 March, 2021, the cap on the number of staff in the physical workplace will be lifted. For the first time since March 2020, we are able to welcome all staff back to the office (yay!).

By returning to the office, we want to start again unlocking the benefits of in-person collaboration, learning from each other, problem solving together, partnering and strengthening our high-performance culture.

Speak to your Team Leader about working from the office. To continue to support a safe return to the workplace mindful of physical distancing requirements (1 person per 2sqm), staff must register via the shared roster published on Knowledge Banks (Ballarat office).  To register to work from the Warrnambool office, please speak to Lee Schlooz, and for Horsham or Mildura speak with Chris Robarts.

All employees are reminded of their obligation to take reasonable care of their own health and safety. For more information see the CEB Q&A for a safe return to the workplace.

Face masks are not required in the workplace however you should continue to carry one with you. Face masks are required on public transport and ride sharing services, as well as hospitals and aged care facilities.

Influenza Vaccinations

CEB will be offering FREE influenza vaccinations to employees on Wednesday 14 April between 10am – 12pm in the Glowrey and McKillop Rooms.

Appointments will be booked in pairs, at 5 minute intervals and employees are asked not to arrive until their scheduled appointment time.

Vaccination Clinic

On the day of the vaccination clinic, employees are asked to attend the Glowrey Room with a completed consent form. Before receiving a vaccination, I will take your temperature and ensure that the consent form is fully completed.

The vaccinations will be administered privately in the McKillop Room by an Immunisation Nurse. 

Please Note:

• You cannot receive a COVID vaccination 14 days before or 14 days after the flu vaccination.
• If you have a fever, cold and flu like symptoms or are feeling generally unwell you will not be able to receive a vaccination.
• After being vaccinated you will be required to remain in St Patrick’s Hall for 15 minutes for observation.
• After your 15 minutes of observation are complete you are free to leave.

Step 1: Book an appointment time – click forward to Wednesday 14 April to see the booking schedule. Please take the next available spot to avoid any scheduling gaps.     

Step 2:  Download and fill in your Influenza Vaccination consent form.

ECSI Survey Closes Next Week

A reminder that the ECSI Survey closes next Thursday 1 April. A Survey Information Sheet is available to download which includes hints to ensure the survey process is smooth. Please don’t wait until the last day to go online!

Just a reminder that it is essential to keep your Outlook calendar and WebCentral up to date with your movements. This serves as a log of your activity as a part of CEB’s duty of care to staff and should there ever be a need for contact tracing.  Note, by updating your Outlook Calendar, Webcentral is automatically updated.
