Central Zone Mass - Ballarat Diocese

CEB staff are invited to join colleagues from Central Zone Primary and Secondary School communities to celebrate the beginning of the 2023 school year with mass at St Patrick's Cathedral.

Further details can be found on the flyer.

For those who do not work in the Ballarat Office you might like to enquire how your local community is marking the start of the year.

Chapel Space

Staff are encouraged to use the Chapel space as a place of quiet or communal reflection at any time.

With this in mind, we please request that this room not be used for phone calls in order to preserve the sanctity of the space.

Room Bookings at Gillies Street Office

The Ballarat Office conference, training and meeting rooms are available for the use of all staff, however, over the last few months, rooms are being occupied without a) making a booking, b) checking if the room has been booked before entering or c) not confirming a room booking.

Staff are asked to please be courteous of each other and to check the room bookings (available in Outlook) prior to using a room. Alternatively you can speak with Reception staff or Kerrie Zammit to confirm or check if a room is available.

Should a room be booked and is being occupied by another user, the room booking will take precedence and the occupants will be asked to find another location for their meeting.

We are looking at options to implement at the beginning of 2023 to ensure that the issues we have/are encountering will no longer occur.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Outgoing Mail at Gillies Street Office

With a dedicated and staffed Reception area now available at the Gillies Street office, outgoing mail is once again able to be dropped off to Reception for posting that evening.

If you have a parcel that need posting, this will be the responsibility of each individual to post and not Reception staff.

Visitors to Gillies Street Office

A reminder to please email reception@dobcel.catholic.edu.au if you are expecting visitors to the Gillies Street Office.

This will ensure that Reception staff are able to greet and direct guests upon arrival.

Thank you in advance for assisting us in providing a professional and welcoming experience for our visitors.
