Farewell Liz McIntyre - Senior Education Officer Student Wellbeing
Liz McIntyre has decided to conclude her time as a CEB employee and will finish her role at the beginning of the 2025 school year. Liz has accepted a two-day position at St. Mary’s Catholic Primary School in Donald as the Mental Health and Wellbeing Leader.
Many team members are aware of Liz’s personal circumstances and her need to care for her husband, Rob. We appreciate that reaching this decision has been challenging for Liz on multiple fronts. It is good that Liz has chosen a path that allows her to address her personal circumstances while also seeking professional stimulation.
Liz has made a significant contribution to the Wellbeing Team through the establishment of the Student Wellbeing Team. This has involved building systems and processes to create a team that has both structure and purpose, which is recognised as a critical component of the broader team.
Liz should feel justifiably proud of the work she has done and know that this will have an ongoing impact on practice in schools.
Tony Perkins, Leader: Wellbeing.

Marketing and Communications - Melbourne Orientation Day
As part of orientation to the broader Victorian Catholic education system, Tara Lupus (Marketing and Communications Officer) and Gerard Delaney (Marketing and Communications Manager), spent the day in Melbourne yesterday.
The DOBCEL team had a full program meeting with the Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS) Comms and Marketing team, the Herald Sun education team, the VCEA Comms and Advocacy team, and attending the Archdiocese of Melbourne Communications Network Christmas BBQ and Drinks.
The Melbourne-based teams were incredibly generous with their time and expertise and the day was filled with deep insight into shared challenges and solutions, as well as building networks of future support and engagement.

A reminder that 12-month self-reflections for the CEB office are now open and should be completed by Friday 13 December 2024.
Each person has received an email from Culture Amp (notifications@cultureamp.com) containing a link to complete the self-reflection. You can access your self-reflection via email or by logging into your Culture Amp account. The link to the self-reflection is located on the home page.
