July CEB Staff Meeting

The July CEB Staff Meeting will be held in-person in Ballarat at the new Damascus Event Centre (DEC) at Damascus College. If health advice changes and we are required to move to a virtual platform, staff will be advised accordingly.

Agenda

The Agenda for the CEB Staff Meeting is now available in Knowledge Banks under 9. CEB Staff > 9. Meeting Materials. In summary: 

  • Tuesday 6 July – CEB meeting at Damascus College (all staff)

  • Wednesday 7 July – Individual team meetings

  • Thursday 8 July – Reframing Learning and Teaching Environments (ReLATE) professional learning day at Damascus College (all staff)
    • Note: Correspondence related to this day will be forwarded directly to each participant

Staff Dinner

Dinner will be held at Oscar’s Hotel and Cafe Bar on the evening of Tuesday 6 July, commencing with drinks at 6.30pm. It is an expectation that all CEB staff attend dinner. If for some reason you are unable to attend, please contact Tom directly by Tuesday 29 June. 

Please advise Sarah Quinn of any dietary allergies or intolerances by Tuesday 29 June. 

Staff Photographs

Photos of each staff member will be taken throughout the day on Tuesday 6 July for inclusion in the DOBCEL Directory.

Staff Prayer

Staff prayer will not be held during the holidays, however sessions will recommence for Term 3 on Monday 12 July at 8.30am. Please note this new ongoing Zoom link to join us.

In the meantime don't forget to check the daily prayers published on the SIMON homepage message board. 

Channel your Mind for Mental Fitness

Mental self-awareness is a vital skill and discipline for tracking your wellbeing. Through being self-aware, we can identify our emotional and behavioural warning signs.  

Being aware of these can help prevent our mental health from deteriorating and can serve as an impetus to seek help.
