COVID Updates for CEB Staff

CEB Staff Working in Schools

We are anticipating that the Term 3 School Operations Guide will be available early next week which will give clarification on visitor access to schools and professional learning facilitation. Until such clarification, CEB staff working in schools should continue to seek authorisation from their Team Leader following consultation with individual schools.

Working in the Office

Following the Victorian Government's announcement on Wednesday 7 July that COVID restrictions in Victoria have been further eased:

• The working from home requirement has been removed.
• Office settings permit a 75% return or up to 30 people if the total workplace is 40 or less, subject to a density quotient of 1 person per 2sqm.
• Because so many CEB staff are based in schools, staff should feel confident to return to work in CEB offices without restriction.

Facemasks

Face coverings:

• Must be carried at all times
• Must be worn indoors, however are not required in schools or in workplaces that are not public facing (e.g. CEB offices), or if an exception applies
• Recommended to be worn outdoors where 1.5 metres physical distancing cannot be maintained
