Executive Director’s Update to Principals #73: COVID Update - 7 Sep 2021

God of the Sabbath,
on this newest first day of creation,
your people gather in creative ways
to bear the image of God together.
As we reflect on You present here with us and still worry,
let us pause
and acknowledge all that is happening in our world.
And as we bring our fears and release our tears let us see more clearly
that the world you have made is still good.

COVID Update

Today’s Victorian Press Conference

In today’s Victorian Press Conference, Premier Daniel Andrews spoke about the following points during question time: 

• A decision will be made later this week about whether restrictions will ease in regional Victoria in the coming days. The regions are “on track” to ease some restrictions at this stage, but with limitations.
• The Premier clearly stated that schools will not return to on-site learning in Term 3. He also reiterated that a detailed plan for a return to on-site learning during Term 4 will be provided in due course.
