Education Consultant: Central Zone Announcement
Kim Butler has shared her decision to accept a Principal Consultant role with Catholic Education Sandhurst Limited from the 2022 school year. Kim has faithfully served the Catholic Education community in the Ballarat Diocese for over 25 years, for which we are grateful.
Kim began her teaching vocation in the Diocese of Ballarat at Sacred Heart Primary School, Casterton in 1995, and was principal there for a period of time. Following a year teaching at Sacred Heart Primary School, Yarrawonga in 2006, Kim moved back into principalship at St Mary’s Primary School, Ararat in 2007 and later St Columba’s School, Ballarat North in 2014.
In 2020 Kim joined the Catholic Education Ballarat team as Education Consultant for the Central Zone. During her time in this role, she has worked tirelessly to assist Principals, Leadership Teams, and Schools work towards school improvement, ensuring improved student learning outcomes for all.
Kim has been faithful to Enhancing Catholic School Identity and has provided wise counsel and advice to Principals. Her leadership style is based on servant leadership, informed by her deep faith and spirituality, and integrity. She has been a constant support to the Principals of the Central Zone and has provided significant and passionate leadership with Catholic Education Ballarat. We wish Kim every success in her continuing vocation within Catholic Education.
We will begin the recruitment process shortly, with an expectation that the successful candidate would begin by Term 2, 2022. Interim arrangements will be in place for Term 1.
