God of the neighbour,
God of the stranger,
how many times have we left the house
and passed the homes of those
we barely know?
Yet you have known them.
And you know the people across the globe,
The stranger is our neighbour
in this little world we’ve made.
May we no longer estrange our neighbour
in the world we build together.

Updated School Operations Guide
The updated School Operations Guide will soon be available on CEVN.
Updated sections have been highlighted for ease of reading, and include:
- extension of COVIDSafe measures, including rapid antigen test screening.
- advice on COVIDSafe requirements for visitors and volunteers.
- liturgies and sacramental celebrations.
- changes to advice on face masks, staff vaccinations, and visitors to schools.
These settings will be in place from Monday 28 February 2022 until the end of Term 1, unless otherwise advised.
CEB will review this carefully, along with the new Pandemic Orders once released, likely later this evening.
Winter Air Purifier Allocation Survey
The Victorian School Building Authority has emailed schools eligible to receive air purifiers in the winter allocation requesting information to ensure you receive the appropriate allocation of air purifiers.
Please fill out their short survey detailing your school’s building data by Friday 4 March.
Next COVID Update
We would like to acknowledge the outstanding effort you have made as leaders within your schools over the past four weeks to ensure that our schools have remained open for face-to-face learning and teaching. Many thanks for all you are doing to keep our schools safe.
