Tim Hogan - Announcement of Appointment
I write to inform you that Mr Tim Hogan has been appointed as Principal of St Michael’s Primary School, Daylesford. Tim will officially commence at the beginning of the 2023 school year and will continue to serve as interim Principal at St Michael’s for the remainder of 2022.
Tim has been a staff member at St Michael’s since the beginning of 2022 and has worked with the community of students, staff and families with dedication and skill. He has substantial experience in leadership in Catholic Education, holding positions of Principal in Kununurra, Western Australia for four years as well as supporting other school communities in the roles of Religious Education Leader and Year Level Co-ordinator.
With a commitment to his own learning journey, Tim has engaged in further study in the areas of Instructional Leadership and Religious Education.
Tim is passionate about ensuring the right learning environment exists to enable learners to grow and develop in all facets of the curriculum. His contribution to Catholic Education over many years is also testament to his strong personal faith and his commitment to provide impactful learning opportunities for all children.

Mark Hogbin - Announcement of Appointment
I write to inform you that Mr Mark Hogbin has been appointed as Principal of St Francis Xavier Primary School, Ballarat East. Mark will commence his new position at the beginning of the 2023 school year.
Mark has served the community of St Patrick’s Primary since 2009 as a professional and effective leader. His influence and leadership has resulted in a healthy culture which lifts staff and students to be the best learners and citizens they can be.
Mark is well respected by his staff and is held in high regard for his empathetic and supportive leadership style. Working closely with his team and school community, he has developed a clear and committed focus on student outcomes and growth with a strong belief in each individual young person.
Consultation and advertising for a new Principal for St Patrick’s Primary School, Ballarat will commence shortly with the successful applicant to begin at the commencement of the 2023 school year.
