DLG Agenda and Pre-Activity

Below is a link to a draft agenda for our upcoming meeting in Horsham on 20 & 21 February. 

Professor Pasi Sahlberg, David Runge and Canadian Educator, JC Couture will attend DLG at Horsham to support our Professional Learning. 

The agenda for the day is built strongly around the DOBCEL 2035 Strategy, particularly sense-making and collaboration. The draft agenda can be found here. 

To support our collaboration throughout the day we are asking principals to develop a short video emphasing a highlight or a strength of your community as well as a hope you hold for your school's future. The video should be no longer than two minutes and shot on your phone or device. The audience for your video is a small number of your principal and CEB colleagues.   

The production values are low, and we have created a very simple example by way of instruction for the activity. It might be you talking, but it could be others within your community. It doesn’t matter if the video stops and starts – it is intended to be a starting point for conversation.  

Remember – we are looking for: 

• A video up to two minutes in length 

• A hope and a highlight from your school community 

• Some imagery of your setting (if possible)
