  • St Patrick's Parish Primary School Update

St Patrick's Parish Primary School Update

I write to inform you that Tarryn Delaney has been appointed as Principal of St Patrick’s Parish Primary School, Port Fairy. Tarryn will commence in this position at the beginning of the 2026 school year.

Tarryn is currently the Assistant to the Principal at St Patrick’s Catholic Primary School, Camperdown.
During her time at St Patrick’s, Tarryn has served as a classroom teacher and held a range of key leadership roles, including Assistant Principal, Religious Education Leader, Learning and Teaching Leader, and Professional Learning Team Leader.

Tarryn has demonstrated that she is a passionate and dedicated educator, making significant contributions to the school and the wider St Patrick’s community. Tarryn has been responsible for working collaboratively with teams of teachers and the whole staff to promote and implement strategies that bring about improved learning and wellbeing outcomes for students and staff, most recently by leading the implementation of the literacy strategy FLARE. In her role as Religious Education Leader, Tarryn has effectively engaged with staff, children, parents, and the wider parish.

Tarryn has demonstrated an aptitude and love of learning, holding a range of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, including a Bachelor of Laws, a Diploma of Legal Practice, a Master of Teaching, a Graduate Certificate in Catholic Studies, and a Master of Instructional Leadership.

I believe Tarryn has a great deal to offer the school and community of St. Patrick’s Port Fairy and I ask you to join me in wishing Tarryn all the best in the role as Principal.

With best wishes,

Tom Sexton
Executive Director
