Executive Director's Update to Principals #29: COVID Update - 24 Jun 2021
Lord Jesus Christ, light of this world, thank you for the hope you have given us.
Help us to give our worries to you and, above all, to trust in your unfailing love.
For you have promised us “Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you.”
God, our protector, let us trust in you to carry us through this time of uncertainty.
Whatever tomorrow may bring, we will praise your name.
Amen.
School Camps and Excursions to Melbourne
With the ongoing uncertainty of the COVID situation, schools are required to undertake a diligent risk assessment for any camp or excursion to Melbourne in Term 3, or find alternative destinations in regional Victoria.
DOBCEL is aware that there are schools who are already financially committed to camps or excursions in Melbourne next term, and are unable to cancel without significant penalty. In these instances, such activities are able to proceed in accordance with the current School Operations Guide and the school’s own risk assessment.
For any queries or further clarification, please contact John Meneely via email or on 0448 748 135.
Updated Table of Restrictions
Following Acting Premier Merlino’s announcements yesterday, an updated Table of Restrictions is now available and will apply from 11.59pm this evening, Thursday 24 June.
Updated School Operations Guide
We anticipate that an updated version of the School Operations Guide will be available in early Term 3. We will circulate this when it becomes available.
Next COVID-19 Update
We will continue to send out COVID-19 updates on an as needs basis. Please liaise with your Education Consultant with any questions or concerns.
Stay safe and continue to look after each other…
Ever blessings.
