COVID Update
Following the Premier’s announcement today, the current lockdown has been extended until 11.59pm, Tuesday 27 July.
Accordingly, schools will continue to provide a remote learning program for students through to and including Tuesday 27 July, or until otherwise advised.

Sue Larkey is offering a free webinar on Sensory Strategies for Educators to Increase Engagement and Participation in a Busy and Complex Classroom tomorrow – Wednesday 21 July. The webinar is for families with children with sensory concerns, but the information can also help all families in different ways. Support from Converge
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Our Employee Assistant Program (EAP) is available to DOBCEL employees at all times and, it may be particularly helpful during this latest lockdown period. Their support remains completely confidential. Converge is our EAP provider; information about their service and appointment bookings can be found on their website or by calling 1300 687 327. All DOBCEL employees are encouraged to access this excellent service where you feel it may be beneficial. Remember, it is okay to not be okay sometimes.
Further support from Converge
We are working with Converge to bring staff a series of wellbeing seminars. These hour-long sessions will provide people with knowledge and skills for managing our wellbeing and supporting others. We will share more details on these sessions and how staff can register in the coming days.
