Christmas/New Year CEB Finance Office Closure

CEB Finance Office will close from Thursday 22 December 2022 and re-open on Monday 16 January 2023. 

Any invoices, staff reimbursements and school payments that require payment prior to our closure must be received by close of business Monday 12 December. 

Please email all authorised Invoices, Staff Reimbursements and School Payments to Accounts.

Any invoices, staff reimbursements and school payments received after this date will not be paid until the week of 23 January 2023.

People and Development Update

ELMO Performance Portal – Update. 

On Thursday 1 December the ELMO Performance Portal became available for all CEB Staff. The portal is available to capture your goal setting for 2023 and is now the sole platform to be used for recording goals and performance and development related conversations. 

You would have received a system generated email advising you that a Performance and Development Planner was loaded in your performance portal, with the email containing a link to access the planner directly.  

There is a frequently asked question document loaded on the ELMO home page (beneath the payroll quick reference guides). ‘How to’ videos and user guides will be loaded very soon. If you would like immediate support or assistance using the portal, you can contact Fiona Murphy, Organisation Development Manager in the People and Development Team. 

If you accidently deleted the email yesterday and would like to have it re-sent, please email Fiona Murphy.

Please note, you have until 28 February 2023 to complete your goal setting for 2023.

CEB Christmas Giving.

ONLY A COUPLE OF WEEKS LEFT TO SUPPORT THIS GREAT CAUSE! 

This year as part of CEB Christmas Giving we will be supporting St Vincent De Paul Society (Vinnies). This is an opportunity for staff to take part in the workplace giving program and give back to our community.

This year the two appeals for staff to donate to are:   

2022 Christmas Appeal or VIC Flood Appeal 2022.  

If you would like to get involved, there are two appeal boxes in the Staff Room for any monetary donations. Giving is voluntary, with staff donating what they feel is appropriate, we acknowledge that you may already support other organisations during the year and at Christmas.  

Reverse Advent Calendar

Only TWO WEEKS left to support the Reverse Advent Calendar Appeal. This year 170 boxes have been allocated and will be distributed by St Vincent De Paul to people in our immediate community who are experiencing food insecurity.  

Boxes can be found in the Ballarat staff room near the Christmas Tree. These boxes are due to be delivered for distribution on Saturday 17 December 2022. 

We encourage other CEB service centres to support this great cause. We thank you in advance for your support of Vinnies.

Workplace Mental Health First Aid training – Pilot Program for CEB Office Staff.

CEB is conducting a pilot program for Blended Workplace MHFA in 2023 and would like to extend an invitation to all CEB Office Staff to take part in the training.

All information regarding the training is available in the attached document below.

If you would like to be a part of this pilot program please send through your interest via email to Tania Lund, Staff Wellbeing and Engagement Advisor by Friday 16 December 2022. 

There is a maximum of 20 participants per session, so spots are limited.
