As the end of the term approaches, I wish to express my gratitude for your unwavering dedication and tireless efforts in supporting our schools as we bring fullness of life to all in our communities. Thank you for your invaluable contributions this term. May God bless you abundantly during this well-deserved break and you return next term refreshed. I look forward to seeing you all at the CEB staff meeting and dinner on 5 July.

Culture Amp - all CEB staff update

We are pleased to confirm that all individual goals inputted into ELMO earlier this year have been loaded into the new Culture Amp platform for CEB staff. The Culture Amp platform and user guides are not quite ready to be officially launched, however, all staff are welcome to access the platform and are very much encouraged to check your profile to see that all your info is now captured in Culture Amp.

Unfortunately, the goals are not linked to the strategic priorities, and it is not possible for the People and Development team to do this on anyone’s behalf, however, we are happy to sit with you to do this (it’ll take a couple of minutes only) or you can click here for instructions on how you can do this yourself. (The People and Development team have a record of what strategic priority your goals are aligned to in ELMO if you need reminding, or you can cross-reference in ELMO).

I have added the 6-month reflection template to all Culture Amp profiles, and you will have received an email from notifcations@cultureamp with a link that will take you directly into the platform.  So for those of you with your 6-month check-in coming up, you are welcome to input information regarding these conversations straight into Culture Amp and for those who have had their check-ins recently, you access the platform to cut and paste any notes into the platform.

More detailed user guides and FAQ’s are currently in development, but please click here for responses to the anticipated questions if accessing Culture Amp now (these include how do I log in?, password reset, how do I complete the 6-month check-in?, how do I align my goals to strategic priorities?).

More information regarding the Culture Amp platform will continue to be shared over the coming weeks.

For anyone who would like immediate assistance with Culture Amp, please contact Fiona Murphy or Tania Lund.

Testing and Tagging at Gillies Street

Please be advised that testing and tagging of electrical equipment will be undertaken on Wednesday 5 July whilst we are all attending the CEB Staff Meeting at Damascus College.

Should you have any work items that require testing and tagging such as phone charges, laptop leads, etc please leave them on your desk so that they can be tested on this day.

These works may extend into Thursday 6 July if required, but if you happen to be working from the office on this day, interruption whilst testing your personal equipment should only be minimal.

If you have any questions, please contact Penelope Irish on email pirish@dobcel.catholic.edu.au or on  0429 473 351.

Vinnie's Winter Appeal

It has been decided to extend our collection time for The Vinnie's Winter Appeal. In previous newsletters, it was indicated that the collection would finish today, Friday 23 June. Our tub for non-perishable food donations will now stay in the Ballarat staffroom until Friday 7 July.

It is on the floor against the wall, on the right-hand side of the doors that lead out onto the courtyard.

Many thanks for your generosity in helping those who might be doing it tough this winter.

Housekeeping Matters

A reminder to please ensure that before you leave the building, that all dirty dishes and food items have been cleared from desks and any food left in the fridge please be disposed of.

Stationery and Office Supplies Distribution

To maintain a smooth workflow and ensure adequate resources for all, staff are kindly requested to please avoid directly accessing the stationery cabinet or office supplies. Instead, please reach out to either Elena or Kerrie whenever you need any stationery items or office supplies.

Centralising this process enables us to monitor and track our stock efficiently, prevent unnecessary shortages and guarantee access to necessary resources for everyone.
