7-Day Circuit Breaker Lockdown - New COVID Restrictions

Following the Victorian Government's announcement that Victoria will enter a 7-day circuit breaker lockdown from 11:59pm tonight, if you can work from home, you must work from home from Friday 28 May until Thursday 3 June (inclusive).

Any staff who were intending to visit schools tomorrow or next week will need to:

1. Reschedule visits planned for Friday 28 May - Thursday 3 June (inclusive)
2. Consider a plan if the lockdown is extended beyond Thursday

If there is an essential reason to visit the office or a school, please discuss this with your team leader.

A reminder that facemasks are again mandatory for both indoor and outdoor settings anywhere other than your home (unless an exemption applies).

PD Events

At this stage PD events planned for the lockdown period have been postponed. As the EMU Ongoing Day scheduled for Friday 4 June falls outside the lockdown period, it will go ahead as planned, depending on the COVID situation at that time. 

CEB Staff Appointments

We welcome Meagan Becker to the position of English as an Additional Language Education Officer. Meagan has extensive experience working with EAL students and has recently been in a similar role with the Department of Education. Meagan will begin her 0.4 position at the start of Term 3 and will work from the Warrnambool Office.

CEB Payroll Deduction Requests

CEB Payroll is a paperless system. All payroll deduction requests are to be emailed to payroll@dobcel.catholic.edu.au. 

Salary Sacrifice

If you would like to change your Salary Sacrifice amount, donate to the Catholic Mission – Myanmar Project, or contribute to the Diocesan Building Project, you can locate the 'CEB Payroll Deduction Request' form on Knowledge Banks under 8. Forms.

1. Salary Sacrifice amount for 2022 FY is $27,500 employer and self-contributions.
2. Catholic Mission – Myanmar Project: Your donation will support training of teachers and staff to build a strong teaching network in Myanmar.
3. Diocesan Building Donation: Funds are distributed to local charities or to special needs cases as recommended by staff.

Change of Bank Details

Email your new details to payroll@dobcel.catholic.edu.au.

Change of Super Funds

Complete the 'Superannuation standard choice form' found in Knowledge Banks under 6. Human Resources > 1. Human Resources > 4. Human Resources Forms. 

Payroll Cut-Off Times

Please email payroll deduction requests by close of business on the Friday prior to the Wednesday payment. All requests received after the Friday will be deducted from the following fortnight’s payment.

Staff Prayer

Staff Prayer will be taking place this Monday 31 May at 8.30am. Here is the prayer we will be using.
