Pilgrims of Hope Formation Experience in October
Below is a website link that explores The Camino de Santiago in Spain. For your own reflection you are invited to read it and wherever you see reference to The Camino de Santiago you may like to take the opportunity of replacing/inserting the pilgrimage experience you are taking part in as part of our CEB Formation in October. Enjoy!
Joe Ewing on leave
We send our best wishes with Joe Ewing as he embarks on a period of extended leave. From Monday 8 September through to Friday 10 October Lauren Gould will be Acting Leader: Learning & Teaching. Please send any queries, approvals, etc. to Lauren during this period.
Congratulations to Breeana Wade
We congratulate Breeana Wade (Flare Primary Literacy EO) on accepting a 2 year secondment to Sacred Heart Primary School in Mildura as Deputy Principal. Through her work in the school Bree will be gaining important insights into impacts, success and future opportunities of the Flare Literacy work she has been engaged with at CEB. The experience will also allow Bree to further develop as a school & system leader.
Bree brings many important skills and knowledge to the Learning & Teaching team and wider CEB. Sacred Heart are fortunate to be gaining her to their staff team and the CEB L&T team look forward to her returning at the beginning of 2028. The Flare Team are currently looking at how Breeana’s workflow will be managed. A proportion of this will be picked up by Belinda Chiswell who brings significant skill and a strong willingness to learn.
Turning off TV Screens
As we work towards a more efficient and environmentally conscious workplace, I’d like to bring attention to an important practice that can have a meaningful impact: One such practice is turning off the office TV screens at the end of each day.
When leaving any meeting room, please remember to turn the TV screens off, especially if it is close to the end of the day.
By incorporating this simple yet effective action into our daily routines, we can collectively contribute to a more sustainable environment and a better workplace for all.
Thank you for your support and cooperation in this small but significant task.
